Please download the appropriate application packet and complete all required forms and training, as applicable. Both packets have fillable forms that can be signed electronically and then printed or printed and then signed manually.
Ensure you have read the first two pages; these explain WHY we need the information we do and HOW to use the packets. Also read any introductory instructional pages for each applicable section. This will tell you how to fill out the forms or access the training.
Once you have completed all forms and training and had either your supervisor or principal investigator sign the appropriate forms, schedule an in-processing meeting with the Research Program Support Assistant/WOC Coordinator, Zhoie Bigham at Zhoie.Bigham@va.gov. When a date and time are agreed upon, you will receive an email calendar invitation.
Copies of documents, incomplete documents or incomplete packets will not be accepted.
Once Research in-processing is complete, all applicants will proceed to the Human Resources Department for on-boarding, fingerprinting and a background check.
If you have any questions that aren’t addressed here or in the packets, please contact Zhoie Bigham at Zhoie.Bigham@va.gov or 734-845-5600.
